These terms cover this website. The work we do for you is covered by the agreement we sign with you, and that agreement always takes precedence over anything on this page.

What these terms cover, and what they do not
These terms apply to the website only.
If we work for you, that work is governed by the service agreement we sign with you, together with any statement of work and service level terms attached to it. Those documents set out price, scope, response targets and liability. Where anything on this page appears to conflict with them, the signed agreement wins.
The content on this site
We write our guides and articles carefully, and we review them. They are still general information about how we work and what we have seen in the field. They are not legal, financial or regulatory advice, and they are not advice about your particular business.
Some of the figures we publish are set by other organisations. IASME certification fees are the clearest example. We quote them as published at the time of writing and they can change without notice to us. Check the current figure with the body that sets it before you budget on it.
Please take proper advice, from us or from a qualified adviser, before acting on anything you read here. We are not liable for a decision taken on the strength of a page on this site alone.
Prices shown on the site
Package prices and calculator outputs are indicative. They are there to give you a realistic idea of cost before you talk to anyone.
A price becomes binding only when we put it in a written quotation or a signed agreement. Anything else on this site is an estimate.
The enquiry form
When you send us an enquiry we use your details to reply to it and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell them and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we handle personal data and how to exercise your rights over it.
Please do not send confidential material, passwords or anything sensitive through the form. Ring us and we will arrange a proper way to send it.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Links out
Where we link to another organisation, we do it because the page is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

The text, images, guides and code on this site belong to AIS Technology unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own business use. Republishing our material commercially, or presenting it as your own, is not permitted without written consent. Quoting a passage with a link back to the original is fine.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We update this page when the way we work changes. The date below is when it was last reviewed.
